Ludowici has installed a Reflux Classifier 2020 at a chromate mine in South Africa (photo), replacing 3 stages of spirals and the Up Current Classifiers. Another South African chromate mine is also installing a RC2020 unit. Business Product Manager Taavi Orupold said “the Reflux Classifier is now gaining acceptance by the mineral processing industry as leading edge classification technology with proven efficiency benefits over traditional equipment such as Spirals, Up-current Classifiers and Teeter Bed Separators.”
Ludowici through its global network is rolling out this Australian ‘home grown’ invention and has achieved unit sales of 20 in the past twelve months, with significant growth projections for 2011/2012.
