Austmine and PwC would like to welcome Pamela Naidoo-Ameglio, Principal Technology Business Partner, BHP Billiton to our CEO Leadership Lunch.
Pamela has held various operational and corporate leadership roles during her 23 years in mining, exploration and stakeholder engagement in Africa and Australasia. She is also a past President of the Geological Society of South Africa, founding Chairperson of Women in Mining South Africa and was recognised in 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining 2013.
At this CEO Leadership Lunch Pamela will focus on her passion of building and investing in partnerships. She will highlight what the criteria is that BHP Billiton looks for in a partner as well as their approach to building relationships. Pamela will also expand on the current technology initiatives that BHP Billiton are focusing on over the next 12 months.
Pamela sees Technology as an enabler for working safer and smarter and for building a better world. Setting up collaborative partnerships requires an understanding of the technical and cultural strengths partners offer each other and Pamela’s background in multi-disciplinary projects and diverse teams helps her build mining technology partnerships.
