Event Begins: 23 Aug 2017 9:00 AM   Ends: 24 Aug 2017 5:00 PM
Venue: Novotel Langley, 221 Adelaide Terrace, Perth, WA, 6000

Future Mining Forums are the Global Mining Standards and Guidelines Group's key initiatives to maintain global reach in the mining industry. Their next forum is scheduled in Perth for 23 - 24 August and it will be held in partnership with Austmine and AusIMM. This in an interactive two day event which features presentations on GMSG's guideline work and open discussions focusing on regional industry value and priorities.

With confirmed speakers from Barrick Gold, Fortescue Metals Group, Newcrest, AngloAmerican, BHP Billiton and more, this is a great opportunity to network and learn from leaders in the industry.

Participants will not only hear from industry thought leaders, they’ll have the opportunity to take part in break-out sessions designed to facilitate open discussion on industry roadblocks and innovations. Stakeholders from the region are encouraged to share their input for GMSG to better align our efforts with Australian priorities. The Forum will also incorporate discussion about Austmine’s recent Co-Lab workshops which have been held in Perth and across the country.

Day one of the forum is focused on autonomy and interoperability in mining, with discussions around how to build on success and collaborate on future innovations. Day two will observe topics of data access, integrated operations and cyber security, and sessions on the concept of the connected mine.

The cost is $250 for GMSG, AusIMM and Austmine members and $350 for non-members.
