Live Webinar: Innovation Starts at Exploration

Event Begins: 28 Sep 2017 12:30 PM   Ends: 28 Sep 2017 1:30 PM
Venue: Online

Please note the above time is given in AEST.

Large, high grade mineral discoveries are no longer a common occurrence, but the demand for minerals continues, requiring exploration companies, juniors and miners to develop mines that are more commercially challenging than ever before.

However, project costs, or viability, can be managed and assessed to a far higher degree when leveraging the advancements in technology that are available through some exciting METS companies who have spent years developing solutions and processes that allow for greater knowledge of the orebody underneath the surface. This includes deploying high-tech geophysical tools, development of new conceptual models through research, faster and cheaper low-impact drilling and the systematic collection of data from drilling.

In this live webinar, industry experts will discuss the range of geophysical techniques and technologies that have changed the nature of exploration, and will continue to do so in the future. Solutions from innovative Australian METS have the potential to change the way that companies explore, generating greater accuracy which will reduce costs through better mine design, whilst also lessening the environmental impact of drilling through less rigorous techniques.

Our expert speaker panel:

  • John Parker, Managing Director, Lincoln Minerals
  • Joe Dwyer, CEO, HiSeis
  • Dave Lawie, Chief Geoscientist - Business Development, Imdex Limited
