MCA Minerals Industry Education Summit: Your Invitation 17 May, 2018
The Minerals Council of Australia invites you to attend the MCA Minerals Industry Education Summit. This event will bring together leaders from industry, academia and government to consider the future minerals workforce and discuss changes to the skill and education landscape required to deliver new skilled professionals to the Australian mining industry.
The interactive day-long summit will focus on three themes:
Keynote speakers include:
- Future minerals workforce: What skills does it have, where do we find them and do we recruit them?
- Educating the future: How do we recruit students and how do we teach them?
- The changing industry: What changes does industry need to make to attract, recruit and retain the skills it will need?

Professionals from technical backgrounds, human resources and organisational development are encouraged to attend to help shape a strategy for the future minerals workforce.
