Austmine 2019 Awards Finalist Interview: Jeff Elliott, Managing Director, CSA Global

Austmine 2019 Awards Finalist Interview: Jeff Elliott, Managing Director, CSA Global

Austmine recently caught up with Jeff Elliott, Managing Director, CSA Global following their announcement as a finalist in the Austmine Craig Senger Excellence in Export Award. Jeff discusses their export growth and the role of Austmine in helping them drive success.

1. How do you feel about being selected as a finalist for the Austmine 2019 awards?

CSA Global Managing Director, Jeff Elliott states: “We are extremely honoured to be chosen as an Austmine Award finalist in 2019. Being selected as a finalist is great recognition for all the hard work that is put in by our talented personnel.  I know it might sound like a bit of a cliché but it is very true; without such a wonderful and diverse team, we wouldn’t be the same business.”

2. Why do you think your entry stood out to our judges?

Managing Director, Jeff Elliott stated: “We have enjoyed the best year in our history and our export earnings were very strong, so I’m pretty sure this would have been a key point that was picked up by the judges.  We have continued to make good progress with our global expansion plans, increasing our capacity and adding to our capabilities.  We have also had success with partnering and collaborating with other Australian and international METS companies to further broaden our technical capabilities across the mining value chain.”

 3. Why is it important to have awards that recognise success in our sector?

Managing Director, Jeff Elliott stated: “Awards of any type are a way to recognise contributions made and to highlight that the contributions are valued.  The Austmine awards highlight the quality, innovation and differentiation of product and service taking place in the mining industry, all while igniting global interest in our abilities and talent.”

“Whilst groups like Austmine advocate and represent the collective interests of the Australian mining industry, they also provide a platform for individual companies to showcase their capabilities and expertise; and via awards programs they bring the spotlight to just a few examples of the quality and diversity within the Australian mining industry.”
