Meet the Miners Networking Event (EVENT FULL)

Meet the Miners Networking Event (EVENT FULL)

We are excited to bring our next Meet the Miners Networking event to Brisbane on Thursday 5th July.

This event will foster closer collaboration between miners and METS, opening up a dialogue around issues that are important to our industry. Through meeting and directly conversing with management from mining companies, you will have a chance to better understand any opportunities that might exist for your business as they discuss what they require from their suppliers, potentially saving time down the track in the procurement process. It is an exceptional opportunity to learn about their upcoming initiatives that they are focusing on, along with having a chance to ask questions face-to-face.  Further, it is a chance for mining companies to discover new and potentially innovative solutions and technologies that can help with their productivity and efficiency challenges.

The format will be four mining companies, each sitting at a table with a facilitator. You will have fifteen minutes at each table, meeting all four miners over the course of the hour. After the session has concluded there will be networking drinks and canapes so that you also have an opportunity to continue discussions with the miners and connect with the other METS attendees in the room.

Early confirmed participating miners include:
  • Scott Cowie, General Manager - Technical Services, PanAust
  • Craig Stegman, VP Growth & Innovation, Copper, Rio Tinto
  • Cameron McGregor, Manager - Business Improvement, Ok Tedi Mining Limited
  • Chris Dippenaar, Head of Commercial Services, Harmony

This event is limited to one person from Austmine member companies only, with 32 places available. The cost to attend is $50 + GST.
