Austmine is pleased to recommence our networking events!
We hope you can join us on Thursday 17th September for our Smart Mining Networking Event in Newcastle.

Austmine's first networking event back in Newcastle will feature guest speaker Cam Halfpenny, General Manager, Bengalla Mining, New Hope Group. Cam will discuss Bengalla's key priorities moving forward including future plans and projects.

Join this networking event to:

As General Manager, Cam is responsible for the continued focus of Bengalla Mining’s improvement opportunities across safety, productivity, cost reduction and growth for the joint venture mine, supplying international markets with thermal coal.

Bengalla Mining Company is a joint venture ownership with New Hope Group 80% and Taipower 20%. Located four kilometres south west of Muswellbrook in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Bengalla supplies international markets with thermal coal.

Bengalla honours its commitment to manage health, safety and environmental risks and work with the community to build enduring relationships.

They continuously strive to understand and fulfil our responsibilities as an employer and community member as well as meet our obligations under our development consent.
