Nominations Opening Soon for Austmine's Board of Directors

Austmine’s Members Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Monday, October 30 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. At the 2017 AGM, we will review the FY17 financial report and discuss our key accomplishments over the last financial year.

There will also be an election held for 5 positions on Austmine’s board, and we would like to invite experienced individuals from our corporate members companies to nominate themselves to stand for election as a Director.

Sitting on the Austmine Board provides a unique opportunity to play a role key in the development and growth of Australia’s Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) sector. As an Austmine Director, you will contribute to the future direction of the sector and will help to ensure the success and sustainability of Austmine.

Further, you will be able to open up dialogue with other senior professionals who are passionate about the METS sector, exposing you to a range of new ideas and contacts. Coupled with this, you will be seen as a leader of the METS sector and your contribution will be recognised through having a role in a number of industry events, including Austmine 2019.

If you’re passionate about the Australian METS sector and want to discuss nominating for the Austmine board, please contact chris.stewart@austmine.com.au. Board nomination forms will be available on 10 October and will be sent with the notice of the AGM.

You can also register to attend Austmine’s AGM here, which coincides with the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) 2017
