Australia-Zambia Trade Mission

Lusaka capital of Zambia, 6 - 8th of May 2019

Zambia has remained politically stable since its independence in 1964. It has maintained the Westminster system and English Rule of Law principles. Zambia’s 17.2 million people share borders with: 

  1. More than 86.7 million in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
  2. 50.0 million in Tanzania
  3. 28.2 million in Angola
  4. 29.5 million in Mozambique
  5. 14.9 million in Zimbabwe
  6. 19.2 million in Malawi
  7. 2 million in Botswana
  8. 2 million in Namibia
The headquarters for the ‘Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa’ (COMESA) is in Lusaka. Zambia is strategically placed as a hub for Australian companies. 

This Trade Mission will facilitate opportunities in Zambia and Its potential for business in the eight neighboring countries. 

B2B will be arranged on request. 

Delegates will be invited to visit the Multi-Facility Economic Zone specially created to meet the needs of foreign investors.
