Innovative Australian Manufacturer Success in the Americas
Patented Australian Innovation Working in Underground Mines in Mexico
Orange NSW Australia, April 28, 2017: S&P Industrial, today announced the operation of their patented mining pump filter innovation, the REFLEX SUCTION STRAINER, in three Mexico mines.
Since launching this revolutionary product at the World Mining Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2016, S&P Industrial have realized sales of the Reflex Suction Strainer into various mines across the USA and Canada.
Excitingly, since becoming a standard store item at Peabody’s largest underground mine in the USA, 20 Mile mine, Colorado, a further three mines in Utah, Colorado and Alaska have made the Reflex Suction Strainer a standard store item in their water management system.
“It has been an extremely exciting and challenging process gaining access for the Reflex Suction Strainer into the Americas. Through the invaluable support of the Megator Corporation in the USA, S&P Industrial has been able to place the Reflex Suction Strainer into the USA and Canada, and now into areas such as Chihuahua, Mexico” said Managing Director Simon Provost.
Additionally, the largest mining corporation in Mexico, Grupo Mexico, along with Minera Plata Real and Minera Fresnillo, have successfully converted trials of the Strainer into standard operating practice. Two additional mines in Mexico are now also trialing the product in their underground pumping systems.
The international demand for the Reflex Suction Strainer has not stopped, with fresh trials underway across Canada in provinces such as Ontario and Quebec. These regions have mines with personnel willing to take on new innovations such as the Reflex Suction Strainer that reduce costs and provide safer ways to mine and handle water.
