MICROMINE Accelerates Growth Opening New Office in Toronto, Ontario

TORONTO, ON, September 27th, 2017 – MICROMINE, the leading provider of intuitive software solutions to the mining and exploration industry, announced the opening of a new office located in Toronto, Ontario. The expansion into Eastern Canada will accommodate continued growth in the region.

The office located in the Toronto Bay Street area, in downtown Toronto, enables MICROMINE to accelerate growth in software sales, professional services and customer support.

In addition to the regional office in Vancouver, British Columbia, the new office space gives MICROMINE a solid footprint in its expansion efforts. MICROMINE’s recent hiring influx, along with the impending major release of its products; Micromine, Pitram and Geobank, has accelerated the company’s growth and resource requirements.

"A key strategy for us this year is to increase our market share in Eastern Canada. The region is the exploration investment capital of the world and Toronto is of course the headquarters of many global mining companies" commented on the expansion, CEO, Claire Tuder.

We have the opportunity to further expand staffing and capabilities in our software support and services, professional account services and customer support departments throughout North America.

“The aim is to give our customers the best software and service possible, plain and simple” says Araneda, many of our competitors in the industry haven’t spent much time improving their tool sets over the past few years, whereas Micromine has continually improved our products based on client feedback and interaction.”

With that in mind, we are very excited about the prospect of gaining new customers while providing them excellent software, services and support. MICROMINE staff from our three other North American offices, Denver, Vancouver and Toronto will be attending next month’s Mines & Technology Conference, Exploration 17 and XPLOR through the month of October.
