MineWare and RPMGlobal Lead the Way in Advanced Interoperability with Collaboration Shortlisted for Innovation Award

RPMGlobal and MineWare’s game-changing planning and monitoring development collaboration has been shortlisted for Australian Mining’s 2019 Prospect Awards in the Innovative Mining Solution category.

The robust enterprise grade integration provides complete end-to-end visibility of live planning and scheduling information to create a single source of truth for multiple departments and improved short interval control.

Harnessing ISA95 open industry standards, MineWare’s Argus shovel and excavator monitoring system combines with RPMGlobal’s short-term scheduling solution, XECUTE, to allow mining companies to compare their planned production activities against what is happening on site in real-time.

The integration ensures planners always have the most up-to-date information and operators always have the correct plan.

Commenting on the award shortlisting, RPMGlobal CEO Richard Mathews said the recognition was a strong endorsement of the pioneering collaboration.

“Since announcing the product development partnership in 2018, RPMGlobal and MineWare have continued to advance the capabilities of the software integration to help miners drive productivity enhancements through interoperability,” he said.

“This integration automates what has traditionally been a very manual process. As a result, we are driving a raft of efficiencies that enable miners to boost overall productivity so it’s great to receive this industry recognition.”

MineWare CEO Andrew Jessett said it was an honour to be a finalist in the innovation category.

“System interoperability is critical to the connected mine of the future and it is wonderful to see this acknowledged by our peers,” he said.

“This collaboration combines the powerful benefits of two world-class software vendors who have built a seamless integration to provide live mine planning and plan compliance.”

Other finalists shortlisted in the Innovative Mining Solution category include Wolff Mining with its non-line of sight remote control dozer and IMDEX’s downhole navigation solutions. There are a number of gongs up from grabs such as the Hard Rock Mine of the Year, Contract Miner of the Year and the Australian Mine of the Year.

The winners of the 16th Australian Mining 2019 Prospect Awards will be announced on October 10 in Brisbane.
