Congratulations to the Winners
Congratulations to the winners: Pieter Holtzhausen and Albert Swart from Team Middebosch who developed a clever visualisation of offshore diamond mining analytics for De Beers. Pieter went on to present at Mining Indaba on Tuesday 9 February. Congratulations also to Team Codeswop and Team #MakingWavelets who received 2nd Prize & the Young Innovator Award respectively.
You can see more information on the winning entry, plus all submissions, on the Unearthed website.
Unearthed's next two hackathons will take place on 4 - 6 March in Brisbane, QLD and 8 - 10 April in Perth, WA. The Perth event will provide challenges from the oil and gas industry for the first time. Unearthed Director Justin Strharsky says that there has never been a better time for Australian innovators. “We’re excited to work with Woodside to create opportunities for Australian entrepreneurs. Oil & gas industry leaders from around the world will be coming to Perth AOG in February and for LNG18 in April – we can’t wait to showcase the ideas of some of Australia’s best technical talent.”
