Globally, the market for equipment, technology and services is increasing exponentially as operations mature and credible closure plans becomes an integral aspect of the approvals process. A “ Closure CRC” is being proposed to leverage $80-million in Government and Industry funding into research enabling mine closure and relinquishment.
METS companies are an integral part of achieving sustainable mine closure and will provide the route to market for the outcomes of the CRCs research. Sustained R&D investment will ensure Australian rehabilitation and mine closure METS are well positioned to take advantage of growing domestic and international demand.
Hosted by Bid Chair Dr Bruce Kelley: ex Global Practice Leader Environment, Rio Tinto and past Chair of the International Network for Acid Prevention
You are invited to a two hour workshop to hear about, engage with and influence the development of this multi million dollar initiative. This will be the start of a conversation – not a one off event.
