Austmine Board Nominees 2020

At the Austmine 2020 AGM, we have 12 candidates standing for election. We appreciate the time these candidates have taken to put their nominations forward.

As per our constitution, candidates must nominate in the 4 defined categories representing the METS sector. Those candidates who have nominated in their respective categories are:

A. Consultancy Services

Craig Hook, Managing Director, Strategic Intent Consulting (WA)

David Novak, Principal Engineer, GPA Engineering (QLD)

Harris Gomez, Director, Harris Gomez Group (NSW)

B. EPCM/Contract Mining

Grant Fraser, Managing Director, Sedgman (QLD)

**Andrew Rouse, Chief Technology Officer, PYBAR Mining Services (NSW)

C. Equipment Suppliers & Manufacturing

Nikolas Gresshoff, Head of Mining – Australia & Pacific, ABB (QLD)

Craig Lindsay-Rae, Managing Director, Murray Engineering (WA)

**Trent Wehr, Managing Director, Mining, Liebherr-Australia (SA)

Max Wijasuriya, Managing Director, Schenck Process (NSW)

D. Technology Applications

Adam Amos, Owner, Robotic Systems (NSW)

John Vagenas, Managing Director, Metallurgical Systems (NSW)

Dush Wimal, General Manager, Weather Intelligence (QLD)

** Current Austmine Directors

There are a total of 10 Director positions and at this year’s AGM, 4 positions will be up for election. At each election, we seek to achieve balanced representation across all categories and across all states. The continuing Directors are in Consultancy Services (2) and Technology Applications (4) with their locations being in QLD (3), NSW (1), VIC (1) and WA (1). Members should keep this in mind while casting their votes.
