Collaboration Award winners announced at IMARC 2018

Industry celebrates exceptional partnerships

METS Ignited has recognised outstanding collaboration between Unearthed & Newcrest Mining, and Core Resources & Mineral Technologies as joint winners of the 2018 Collaboration Award.

Announced at the IMARC Gala Dinner and celebrated by the METS and mining industry the award acknowledged the successful partnerships between METS companies, mining companies and researchers to develop innovative products and services for the industry.

Who are the winners?

The collaboration between Unearthed and Newcrest Mining was chosen as a worthy winner for the launch of their automated online platform, the Newcrest Crowd.

Core Resources and Mineral Technologies have been equally recognised for the co-development of the Toowong Process, a method for processing arsenic in an environmentally safe and stable way.

The Award

In order to remain successful and competitive on a global scale, collaboration is vital amongst Australian organisations operating with the diverse and fast-moving mining sector.  The METS Ignited Collaboration Award is now in its third year, with the calibre of entries growing year on year.
