Prime Creative Media Launches Safe to Work – Australian Mining

Prime Creative Media is launching Safe to Work – Australian Mining, a new print and digital offering to complement the market-leading Australian Mining platform.

Prime Creative Media Managing Director John Murphy says the new product fits well into the company’s purpose of growing individuals, organisations, and industries. With safety the No. 1 priority for everyone involved in the Australian and international mining industry, it makes sense to provide a platform dedicated to highlighting those companies improving safety practices.

“A safe workplace is critical to the continued success of the mining industry. It is a constant focus for all mining and METS [mining equipment, technology and services] companies to ensure every employee and visitor at mines and workplaces leaves these sites health and injury free,” says Mr. Murphy. “Through Safe to Work, our team will provide the industry with news and features about the latest achievements, equipment, technologies and products that will benefit the safety pursuits of mining and METS companies.”

Ben Creagh, the current Editor of Australian Mining, will oversee the title as Editor. He brings more than a decade of experience reporting on the Australian and international resources industry.

“It will be our goal to help businesses identify, understand and reduce the safety risks at mining operations to deliver continual improvement on the path to reaching the universal target of zero injuries,” says Mr. Creagh.

As the mining industry gradually recovers from the commodities downturn of earlier this decade, Mr. Creagh says he looks forward to supporting new opportunities that are emerging to enhance safety processes.

“Safe to Work will help the industry navigate this new environment by leading and informing the Australian mining industry of the latest safety developments and innovations,” he says.
