Project Evaluation Specialist Jeames McKibben Joins SRK

SRK Consulting (Australasia) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeames McKibben as a principal consultant to their Brisbane office. Jeames has over 20 years of combined industry and consulting experience. This covers multi-disciplinary projects across various commodities and project development stages in the areas of project evaluation, mineral asset expert reports and valuations, corporate advisory, project and operation reviews, and due diligence.

"Jeames is highly regarded by industry and peers for his technical assessment, advisory and valuation work,“ said SRK’s Managing Director, Chris Woodfull. “This recognition and his range of experience are real assets to SRK and our clients, and he will work closely with our well established national project evaluation team to service and expand SRK’s strong national and international mining and corporate client base”.

Jeames worked as an exploration geologist in Australia and then with Anglo American in Zambia and Morocco before returning to Australia to complete an MBA.  He joined the Snowden Group in 2004 and then Xstract Mining Consultants where he headed up the Corporate Advisory division, working on local and global projects and preparing reports for a number of international stock exchanges. For the past year, Jeames has acted as the Technical Discipline Manager – Valuation and Property Services with SLR Consulting, where he gained additional skills in quarry, landfill, industrial mineral and mine closure evaluation.

Jeames is a chartered professional of the AusIMM, a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and a Chartered Valuation Surveyor as well as an original member of the current VALMIN Review Committee. He holds a MSc in Geology and Geochemistry from the University of Tasmania.

Jeames will commence with SRK in late April and will be based in Brisbane, Queensland.
