Elizabeth Lewis-Gray Receives Austmine Life Membership
At Austmine's recent 30th Anniversary Dinner we were proud to award Elizabeth Lewis-Gray, Co-Founder and Managing Director, Gekko Systems with a life membership of Austmine.
Elizabeth has been instrumental to the growth and development of the Australian METS sector and Austmine. She sat on the Board of Austmine between 2003 - 2007 and 2009 - 2016, along with being Chair of the organisation from 2013 - 2015.
During her time as a Board Director and Chair Elizabeth pushed the organisation towards new heights. She was critical in encouraging Austmine to establish an independent office in 2010 and subsequently setting up the structure of Austmine. Through her advocacy to State and Federal Government Elizabeth was a driving force in the establishment of METS Ignited and IMARC. As Chair of the Strategy Committee she helped in setting the current vision and values of Austmine and aligned the organisation to boost member value and sector influence.
Elizabeth's contribution to the METS sector goes well beyond Austmine with her advocacy of METS sector value to governments, the founding of CEEC, her role as Chair and Deputy Chair of METS Ignited and numerous boards and committees she has sat on through a strong passion for the METS sector.
We thank Elizabeth for her exceptional contribution to Austmine and the Australian METS sector.
