Smart idler based conveyor condition monitoring system, where the smart idler is a roller subcomponent, and the system intelligently monitors conveyor rollers 24 x 7 to instantly predict roller failure and supply metrics which help conveyor productivity, with the effect of reduced downtime, reduced damage and improved safety.
