Queensland METS Collaborative Projects Fund
METS Ignited is delivering project funding to fast-track mining equipment, technology services projects to improve the productivity, competitiveness and innovative capacity of the Australian METS and mining sectors.
The Queensland METS Collaborative Projects Fund will provide mining equipment, technology and services companies with access to $1.1 million to fast-track collaborative projects.
The Queensland METS Collaborative Projects Fund is intended to drive collaboration between Queensland METS companies, global suppliers, mine operators, research organisations and capital providers to support the improved productivity, competitiveness and innovative capacity of the Australian METS and mining sectors.
Delivered by METS Ignited with support from the Queensland Government, businesses can now submit an Expression of Interest for funding of $50,000 to $250,000 to develop or undertake collaborative activities with other METS companies with complimentary expertise.
Projects must be collaborative and industry-led with clear commercialisation applications for an innovative product or service.
Projects addressing opportunities identified through the Queensland Cluster Program are strongly encouraged to apply:
- digital and data analytics
- automation and robotics
- tailings and mine affected water.

This funding opportunity can be accessed by industry via an Expression of Interest (EOI) process.

Projects will be evaluated on their merit against alignment with the Queensland METS Collaborative Project Fund Program Guidelines.
