Webinar: Integrated Eco-hydrological Modelling of a Restored Riparian Wetland
Join DHI for their upcoming webinar on Integrated Eco-hydrological Modelling of a Restored Riparian Wetland.
This free 1 hour webinar has a central focus on the restoration of riparian wetlands and their impact on the ecological status of river-wetland systems, including the reduction of nutrient loading.
Riparian wetland background and environmental function.
Flooding and water retention in riparian wetlands including integrated surface water- groundwater effects.
Nitrogen removal modelling of the wetlands.
Summary & Conclusions.

MIKE ECO Lab capabilities.
Date: Tuesday 29th October 2019
Time: 4 - 5pm AEST
Join Dr. Michael Brian Butts, PhD. Hydrology, M.Sc. Engineering, B.Sc. Hons Physics.
Michael is R & D Programme Manager for Water Resources at DHI, Michael has more than 25 years of professional experience in hydrology. His experience includes hydrological and geophysical fieldwork, hydrological data analysis, network design and application of hydrological databases. He has both developed and applied integrated models (surface and groundwater) in water resources, flooding, urban hydrology, eco-hydrology and water quality management applications.
He has managed, designed, and delivered novel decision support tools within flood forecasting, nitrate management, climate change & adaptation and water resource planning. He has also been external lecturer in catchment modelling at UNESCO-IHE since 2001.
