3rd Austmine Mission Kazakhstan 2012
16 September 2012 - 21 September 2012  at Karaganda & Almaty

Join the 3rd Australian Mining Technology Mission to Kazakhstan to participate in the country’s premier mining exhibition, MiningWorld Central Asia 2012 in Almaty, 19 - 21 September. Austmine jointly with Trade & Investment Queensland will stage the Australian Pavilion and arrange meeting with Kazakhstan’s key mining companies including site visits to operations in the Karaganda region.

Why attend this mission? Since 2010, Austmine in association with Trade & Investment QLD led two missions to Kazakhstan that included Australian companies such as Micromine, ALS Ammtec, Jacobs, Maptek, Mineral Technologies, Remote Control Technologies, Hedweld Engineering, Bureau Veritas Amdel, Scantech, Worley Parsons, Partners In Performance (PIP), Mine Site Technologies and Xstrata Technologies.

With the Australian Pavilion in 2012 covering some 80 m2 located in the international hall, the mission expects to attract the largest contingent of Australia's leading mining technology suppliers and services providers. The agenda will also include site visits and meetings with the leading companies, such as Kazakhmys, ENRC, Kazinc and Rio Tinto in Karaganda and in Almaty.

Australian METS supplier interested in the resources sector of Central Asia should not miss the opportunity to join this mission to Kazakhstan and first-hand experience and test the potential of this rapidly growing region.
