The WA METS Digital Mining Export Hub is pleased to launch the International Market Development Programs for WA METS businesses into the following international mining sectors:
- Indonesia - Commencing February 2022
- Papua New Guinea - Commencing May 2022
- India - Expressions of Interest open September 2022
To lead the programs we have engaged in-country business consultants with great knowledge, experience and in-market networks. Our in-country consultants will work with your business to develop an insight into your current export strategy and provide specific in-country market intelligence on mining projects, identify specific opportunities and recommend the most effective route to market for your strategic considerations.
Indonesia
We have engaged The Britmindo Group as our in-country business consultant in Indonesia. Established in 2004, with a main office in Jakarta, The Britmindo Group provide services dedicated to improving the Indonesian Mining Sector.
Papua New Guinea
We have engaged Eric Labe Yawas, Business Development & Government Affairs Manager at Customised Business Advisory Services (CBAS) as our in-country business consultant in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Eric is the Secretary at Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce and prior to CBAS he was the Senior Business Development Manager at Austrade Port Moresby where he advised and assisted Australian companies develop business in the PNG market.
India
With an increased interest from our members in India, we are expanding the program to include this country. We are currently taking expressions of interest from METS companies who are interested in exporting their product and/or service to India and would like to gain more insight into this market.
