Russell Mineral Equipment Announces New Non-Executive Director 

(TOOWOOMBA, Australia – May 12th 2021)

RME Holdings Pty Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Max Wijasuriya to its Board of Directors effective 7th April 2021.

“We are delighted to have someone with Max’s professional, industry and Board experience join RME Holdings as a Non-Executive Director,” said John Russell, RME’s Founder and Executive Chairman. “Max brings to the Board a proven track record in business leadership, strategy and business development, and will provide valuable additional skills to the Board. Mr Wijasuriya has over 20 years of global senior management experience with most recent roles including Managing Director of Schenck Process, Vice President Minerals – China, North & South East Asia for FLSmidth and Vice President – Capital Equipment with Metso. Mr Wijasuriya was also a former Director on the Board of Austmine.

Mr Wijasuriya has a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace) from the University of New South Wales. In addition, he holds professional appointments as Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy (AusIMM) and Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia.
