Geofabrics is seeking to fill Environmental Specialist Position

player in the Australian and New Zealand engineering and resources

environment using smart geotextile and geosynthetic products. Geofabrics helps clients mitigate environmental risk through world leading research
and innovative product development.
They are looking for an
Environmental Specialist to help customers solve complex
environmental problems through the use of Australian made geosynthetics
into mine rehabilitation, land remediation and revegetation
applications.
The position is being advertised in QLD, VIC, NSW and WA.
A day in your new role…
- Establish
and maintain Direct to Mine customer contacts and relationships for the
promotion of Geofabrics’ range of geosynthetic solutions across the
life of mine, including mine establishment, production, care and
maintenance and mine closure
- Partner with environmental
consultants and contractors in customer’s environmental planning and
land development requirements in the Mining, Industrial and Urban
Development segments to promote Geofabrics’ range of containment
solutions for PFAS and emerging contaminants
What are they looking for?
- Someone with excellent presentation, listening and consulting skills
- Minimum 10 years experience in environmental consultancy, sustainability or mine rehabilitation
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental studies
- A
number of years consulting experience supporting the delivery of
environmental management and compliance and/or environmental impact
assessment studies and regulatory approvals applications on
infrastructure projects
- Well connected to environmental consultancy industry and the mining segment
